20.3.2023 Easter Fail

Well, what a few weeks. Lots of wedding orders coming in to get my teeth into, along with christening and baby showers too! We started off very busy in feb and then it eased off a bit, which is fine as I needed to catch up anyway and its always good to have time to concentrate on content and new product ranges as well

One thing that's been bugging me, the Easter range was a massive flop. Like, Major. As in, probably a grand total of 3 orders? Which is ok, it's never been a major time of year for me, but it makes you question yourself big time. Are my designs not good enough? Have my customers gone to someone else instead of me? Is it all too expensive? Does it look rubbish? Why? I know it's probably just one of them things but it put me in a downer for a few days. That, mixed with 2 bugs circulating our household, and then both kids being sick, everywhere. Oh, and I entered my final year of my 20's, so yeah, the last 2 weeks can do one. 

What do I do about Easter? I personally think everyone was concentrating on mothers day and didn't want to hear the E word just yet. But.. I also need to have enough time to make the orders because I only technically have 2 full days of work a week (kid free that is). What if I make the orders up non personalised? But then I run the risk of having stock left over, and also isn't that why people buy from me? because they love personalised items. I don't know, what do you think? 

The Coronation Range is around the corner! I was supposed to launch it last night but because of everything going on I forgot & by the time I remembered it was too late. So it will be up some time this week, I won't make any promises because we all know that my brain is like a sieve.
